C, New York Yankees
Whether he stays a catcher long term remains to be seen but one thing is sure, he made a huge impact in 2016. In his two months at the top level he hit 20 home runs, drove in 42 and hit just south of .300. He even showed himself to be a better defensive catcher than many projected or expected. Much like Judge, it is the market he performs in that will help his case in the MLB The Show 18 cover vote but it is not undeserved. He had a minor injury early this year but has been rounding into form. No he is not going to his 60 home runs but he could have a Mike Piazza style career and that is Hall of Fame caliber. Luckily for Sanchez, there is no retirement period required to get onto a video game cover.
