Pretty raw to say the least is a good way to describe the youngster but hey he is still a ways from 20 years old so there is plenty of time. Of course, it seems like the Yankees have a surplus of shortstop prospects, as you can see by this list, so expect one to move on. It will not be Garcia though. He has the ability to be a .280-.300 hitting shortstop who is a switch hitter. He also has a great feel for defense since he can easily move to both sides, has a big arm, and soft hands to field the challenging hops. Like I said, he is very raw and has a long way to go but at current, he seems to be full of talent and is very young.
